Ronald Koetzsch, Dean of Students, is responsible to assist students with questions regarding their quality of life outside the classroom.

The thirteen acre campus in Fair Oaks, California, just outside of Sacramento, offers students quiet places for contemplation, inspiration sparked by the plants and animals in our bio-dynamic garden, a natural foods lunch program, and recreation opportunities for miles of hiking and biking along the adjacent American River Parkway.

Campus life includes celebration of seasonal festivals, performing opportunities with extra-curricular musical groups, and an extensive program of evening and weekend workshops and courses. The College also occasionally has discount tickets for Sacramento cultural events.

Students at the satellite locations in San Francisco and Los Altos will also have festival activities and service by the Bookstore at Rudolf Steiner College.

Students in all Waldorf Teacher Education programs are eligible to attend the job fair at the annual Waldorf Teachers’ Conference in February in Fair Oaks. Teacher Education student at the Fair Oaks and satellite campuses have the benefit of being located near several Waldorf schools for observation and practice teaching.

Rudolf Steiner College operates its own student loan program. Students from the United States in all programs are eligible for some student loan assistance. There is also some grant funding for students in Waldorf Teacher Education programs.
