A New Inspiration for Education
“To meet the future, we must turn the ship to Waldorf education one hundred and eighty degrees towards the arts, aesthetics, and the practical life.” –Rudolf Steiner
‘A new inspiration for education’ is designed to hold a Kolisko imagination of three key impulses drawn from spiritual science as a cross-disciplinary hub: “right education requires a co-working of teachers, doctors and biodynamic practitioners” - Eugen Kolisko. The Waldorf curriculum, in being braided with biodynamics, has an opportunity to be revitalized through a new immersion. A new consciousness between people and the earth emerges, in which an alchemical transformation supports a re-imagining of practical learning and aesthetics. The materials from the earth, whether they be gold, beeswax, wool or wood are lifted through the genius of the hand, towards service in civility (such as in rose-gold balm, honey, felt slippers, or a wooden stool)– a new aesthetic emerges.
